FUN MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!!

We sure had a great Memorial weekend! Lydia and I finally were able to go out in the world and we took full advantage after our two week quarantine :)

Saturday, we went to Knotts Berry Farm and actually ended up getting season tickets because they were so cheap.  It's not Disneyland, but for less than 1/5 the price and a lot of little kid rides in snoopy land, it was worth it! Lydia had a ball.  She is such a brave little thing.  She went on an airplane ride all by herself.  She barely made the height cut-off and was by far the smallest one on the ride.  She couldn't even see Paul or me from her airplane, yet she was clapping her hands and rode that little plane like a natural born pilot :) She basically will ride anything they let her on, and loves the thrill!

Lydia on her airplane ride! She caught a view of her mom and dad while zipping around, and she smiled and laughed :)

Leave it up to my daughter to develop an affinity for this bear that is actually a trashcan.  The whole day she kept asking to go see the bear.  So sanitary.

Getting ready for take-off on the hot air balloon ride with Mom.

Lydia bypassed all of the beautiful stallions and zebras and went right for the pig on the Merry-go-round.  The whole ride she was yelling, "OINNNNNNK!!!"  What a goof.

We had a relaxing Sunday and on Monday, we took Lydia to the park in the morning and to a friend's pool party/BBQ in the afternoon.  Lydia had so much fun.  She basically entertained the whole group.  I wish I had taken pictures of her in the pool! She was dunking her head in the water over and over, splashing and kicking and acting like she born to be a fish!

I love 3-day weekends :)
